The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is a United States (bill) proposed by U.S. Representative Lamar S. Smith (Republican) to expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods. Provisions include the requesting of court-orders to bar advertising networks and payment facilities from conducting business with infringing websites, and search engines from linking to the sites, and court orders requiring Internet service providers (ISP) to block access to the sites. The law would expand existing criminal laws to include streaming of copyright material, imposing a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Yan ang sopa! ayaw ng Libre, bawal na ang downloadable songs, movies, softwares, at kung ano anong maliliit na kasiyahan sa mundo. Sabi ng mga trilyonaryo na kumikita ng 1m sa isang segundo at gumagastos ng 5b (estimation lang) sa isang araw eh nalulugi daw sila, Kasi sa bawat download mo ng kanta, nababawasan ang kita nila ng 25 cents. Unfair nga naman! 

Unfair ba sa mga; 

estudyanteng walang pera pambili ng album ng mga bago at sikat na banda?

sa mga Professors ng college na wala sa libro ang itinuturo?

sa mga MP3 making companies?

sa mga social networking sites?

sa mga OFW na gipit at walang pangload!

at lastly, sa manga mababait na katulad ko na ayaw bumili ng diary instead internet ang ginagamit para maglagay ng saloobin?

Hindi naman necessity ang internet pero sobrang badtrip lang… Oo nung unang panahon walang internet, ok naman! Masyadong simple ang buhay… walang ipods, mp3’s na pwede mong downloadan, walang wikipedia na pwede mong takbuhan pag ikaw ay nagcra-cram, pero noon, may plaka na! pirata pa! Noon may Library sa lahat ng Lugar, atleast sa isang syudad! Eh ngayon? may library pa kaya, meron man siguro inaamag na!
